Erumeli Pettathullal is a vibrant ritual that takes place in the town of Erumeli, where Ayyappa devotees engage in a lively procession, singing and dancing to traditional tunes. Participants, known as Petta Thullal, clad in distinctive black attire, carry a sacred bundle called ‘Irumudi’ on their heads. The rhythmic and synchronized movements during the procession create a lively and spiritual atmosphere.
